Common questions
No. Every V2 comes with the Clear 2-Piece Packing Tray Set for 84, 98 and 109mm cones. Buy another tray for 60mm, 70mm or slim cones, for 109mm cones you close on the Closer, or as a second tray.
While one tray is on the V2, your team can load the next one. That cuts the wait between runs.
The clear set doesn’t release 109mm cones for transfer into the Dutch Crown Closer™. The 109mm Packing Tray does, and it comes with the 109mm Closer.
No. The Top, Bottom and Lid are sold separately. The Top and Bottom only work together, so replace the part that is cracked, warped or no longer holds the cones straight.
Pick the fill you want in each cone. If you make more than one fill weight, keep a tray for each.
The trays measure by volume. A finer or drier grind weighs less in the same space, so check a few cones on a scale and adjust your grind.
Product can jam or settle unevenly in the cavities. The Clearing Tool’s pins push it through, so every cone gets its full fill.
No. These are for 169 cones. For tubes, use the 115 Tube Metering Trays.
They are optional. The V2 fills and settles the product on its own. For a fluffier grind, an extra press packs the cones firmer and exposes leftover paper for the closing that follows.
Universal works for every cone size and is the one most operators start with. Extended is for long cones when you want the pack to reach further down.
No. For tubes, use the 115 Tube Packing Fingers.
Yes. Every Closer comes with the receiving tray for the size you order. Buy extra trays only for other sizes.
Yes. Swap in the receiving tray for the size you are closing: 70, 84, 98 or 109mm.
No. The packing tray holds the cones on the V2™ while they are filled. The receiving tray holds them in the Closer while they are closed.
